- Nested Loops
-
- Nested loops of melody, note-length or velocity values can
- add a further dimension to the way material is structured
- across a zone. On the timesheet, with a resolution larger
- than the melody and note-length values -say 1/2, a nested
- expression ((a b c)) or ((1/16 1/16 1/8 1/16)) resets
- itself at the beginning of each play/mute instruction.
- With zone control, where the resolutions can change from
- 10/1 to 1/2, the nested loop can have considerable impact.
- In this instance a long nested pattern is automatically cut
- to size by the zone length and automatically restarted from
- the beginning of the loop as the zone changes. Try it in
- DEMO1-3 changing the resolutions and symbol and note-
- length expressions.
